The jubilee in honor of Daniel Gogny "Nuclear Structure and Reactions", organized by the Service de Physique Nucléaire, took place at the CEA/DIF center on may 30-31, 2006. This meeting, dedicated to Daniel Gogny's work and his contribution to nuclear physics, especially the finite-range nuclear effective force that is called after his name, gathered around sixty persons, from France but also USA, Japan and several european countries. The presence of former and current collaborators, students and friends contributed to create a very friendly atmosphere during these two days.

The speakers have illustrated the strong implication of Daniel Gogny among the scientific community at large. The talks have covered various topics as broad as fission, nucleon-nucleon effective interaction, symmetry restorations, shell closure in exotic nuclei, shell model, reactions, quantum chromodynamics, plasma physics... Most of the presentations are available from the conference program.
